In Response To: What is your favorite "Waiting for Halo" memory? (Lophan) Favorite? Well.when I opened the sight with Claude and Hamish ..Hamish and I originally posted a blurred version of Craig's old Pathways Into Darkness image . That was the very first Halo at Bungie Org page. We blurred it and called the sight blam.... Now what is so strange about all this; (is that when I owned...hosted...owned the domain..or whatever it was), .I was colocating it at an ISP here in Okc, Ok. We became so popular, so fast, that the bandwidth costs soared so high that the domain had to be shifted to Claudes residence.
Now...as of this month..that bill after these long awaited months..is finally paid off. The good part?? The original B/W G3 that hosted Bungie Org that first year will be back in my hands next week. The machine will fastly find it's way to Claude Errera since he owns it..but the great part is that the Very Early Days of Halo.Bungie Org is there. All the files..images..etc. or maybe some copies of that site. AND Some other great nostaglia type items.... (Hmm..I do think it started on the b/w and then moved to OGI... Anyway...the files I know are on the machines here in Okc..Oklahoma) Should prove to be a find after 2 years. If nothing more...Claude will get some good memories...and of course a great machine. Major Props to an informative site here at Bungie Org.. steve
