In Response To: What is your favorite "Waiting for Halo" memory? (Lophan) When Bungie put up halo.bungie.com for the first, the BLAM! and Marathon Story people went crazy, and I got there to see that first beautiful screenshot. I stared for about five minutes, and then refreshed the page 20 times to read all the Covenant quotes. BLAM! fansite changed to h.b.org and what seems like a few days the later, the vids started leaking. Not that it hasn't been a rough road. Halo has definitely been downsized from it's original concept, but I've come to accept the "reality" of what Halo is rather than complaining about what Halo could have been.
