Personally, I've been waiting for a company to release a "Marathon-esque" CD Checking system. Basically, you get one serial code for the game when you buy it. You can play single player (without the game checking for the CD) on as many computers as you want, but if you want to play co-op single player or multiplayer you'll need to buy a second CD Key as two copies with the same CD Key won't run together. I liked the fact that you could call in, order *just* the CD Key (for like $15) and get it over the phone and not have to shell out another $50 for another copy of the game.
