In Response To: Re: Halo on DVD for PC. (Gothmog) Being the envelope pushers that we all know bungie is, i think they should just release it on DVD. It is a standard that not yet been fully utilized by many PC software publishers and since the cost of buying a DVD drive is not much more than a 52x cdrom drive, ( I think I saw a hitachi on mwave for only 42 bones.) making people upgrade will only further support the format. Besides If I am going to be loading 1GB+ onto my Hard drive to load a game, that is going to take time anyways, I hate having to sit and wait for my PC to ask for the next disc during installation. I'd rather start the setup then go watch Brooke Burke on E! (mmmmmm) Anyway I could be wrong Thats just my opinion | |
