Tekken-like flashes, total absence of blood -- in my : opinion the game was Bungie's biggest mistake. But surely, with Halo, they : will redeem themselves, as they should have done with Oni while the Bungie : fanbase was reeling from the whole Microsoft-assimilation shock. : But when I saw the Teen rating on Halo, my worst fears sprung from the back : of my brain and slapped me in the face. Bungie is dumbing down Halo for : the consoles as well. : But then my better sense kicked in. Look at Marathon and Myth. Those games : were of infinitely superior quality to Oni and sported lots of blood and : guts, realistically and not to the extreme of Soldier of Fortune. Bungie : wouldn't add colored flashes and invisible blood to Halo, the game : everyone has been dying to play for more than two years. Since the thought of slogging through so many more paragraphs of hypervenilating self-important prose makes me a bit ill, I'll just stop right here and comment for the record: The blood in Oni... LOOKED LIKE ASS. I was not sorry to see it go.
