If it's going by Greek alphabet sequence, it should be "alpha, beta, gamma, delta"; and that would imply that Installation 04 is the 1st and Installation 05 is the 4th in that sequence. If it's the NATO phonetic alphabet sequence, it should be "alpha, bravo, charlie, delta"; that would imply the same sequence as the Greek, oddly enough. Either way, there's a discrepancy; my guess is that the Forerunner nomenclature indicates order of assembly and the UNSC nomenclature indicates order of discovery, but this suggests that ONI has poked around Halos Bravo/Beta and Charlie/Gamma before In Amber Clad chases Regret. -- Steve's discounting the idea that the Covenant has found other Halos, as the reactions of Mercy and Truth to the discovery of 05/Delta suggests that this is only the second to be viewed. | |
