In the cutscence before : Sacred Icon, they maintained their faith that other rings would be found. : They used 343 in order to find them. : So either somebody at bungie doesn't know their greek numerals very well, : delta means "change" and Alpha was fan-added, or ONI has been to : all the Halos and Delta is the designation for the 4th ring that they : explored. I believe "Alpha Halo" was used by an employee of Bungie in an interview a long time ago. This is just from memory, though, searching for "alpha halo" doesn't seem to bring it up.
