In Response To: Re: The obvious questions... (Matt) >What about the Mac version? The PC version? "Right now, I honestly don't know. No one does. The Halo team has yet to figure out how they want to spend their time in light of this new development. Obviously we've already done a lot of work on those two versions, and nobody wants to just chuck them entirely. When the team figures out their plans, including the what/where/how of the Mac/PC versions. I will post them." Ok, here's what bothers me; Bungie says they care about their fan community, rught? And lets face it, who is bungies fan community? It's bassically %100 Mac and PC, and No consoles, right? The fact that there is even a QUESTION of weather or not to port to mac and PC is ludicris!! How can Bungie claim to care at all about their fan base when they are casualy considering (although it sounds like planning on) dropping their games off the PC and Mac?? What Bungie means by "we don't know if we are releasing it on the PC yet" is this: We don't know if we are going to continue allowing our fan base to exist." Because Bungies fan base is not on Consoles, it is on PCs. The fact that Bungie "doesn't know" wether or not to continue incorperating their old fans in their games is sick, just plain SICK! Bungie, you can't really expect all of your old fans to swithc over to consoles JUST for playing your games, can you? After all your fans have done for the company you are "considering the option to include Mac and PC versions" AKA "considering leaving your fans alone in the dust" after all of our years of support. THAT IS SICK! I don't care if you do decide to include PC and Mac versions anymore. The fact that you even had to consider, and this choice wasn't a natural one sickens me. I may stcik around for a little while longer, I might play halo if it comes out for the PC, but overall, This betrayal is a little too much. Bungie has lost all respect and credibility in my eyes, not so much because they sold out to microsoft, but because they need to make a "decision" of wether or not to leave their fans in the dust. Goodbye, Bungie. -Moose Factory |
