Of course, when you make a deal with the devil, you sign up for a wonderful life, but as soon as you sign, the devil will kill you.

M$ now has Bungie by the balls, whether Alex and Jason like M$'s desicisions. I fully expect that within months Alex and Jason are handed a golden parachute and told to jump back to Chicago. Of course they then no longer own Halo, and M$ is free to make it as crappy as every other piece of software that they have, (except minesweeper.)

I feel sorry for Matt and the others who will not get a parachute when the SEC approves this deal. You'll ether have to work with the devil, or leave without anything to show for your work.
