In Response To: My Analysis (Socrates) : Fourth & fifth paragraphs: Rescue isn't likely until the ship is noticed : as being MIA and a search & rescue ship is sent. Also, Enkidu is off : the ship--otherwise, he could relay his best wishes to the Captain, : himself! Chances are, he's on one of the Pelicans. But wait! Even if Enkidu IS on a Pelican, he's still in communication with the ship. and we know that the Captain is on the ship. So why doesn't Enkidu simply talk to the Captain himself? I think Enkidu may not have had the authorization to leave the ship. He may have disobeyed the Captain's order to erase himself, and instead convinced some Helljumpers or somebody to DL him into a portable housinbg, for transport to the planet (It's not like he WANTS to die). Besides.... taking an AI with the locations of Reach and Earth in it down to a planet that could be infested with Covenant? Definitely NOT obeying the Cole protocol.
