Some more musings (and suggestions...)

I personally think that either perspective is perfectly good. FPS wouldn't work for games like Tomb Raider, and Third-person really isn't very good on Unreal.

However, I think it is clear that Halo (and to some extent Oni) will not BE like either of these games, after all, Bungie has a slight history of breaking the genre-moulds in ways no one would have thought (come on, if someone said 4 years ago to you, when Warcraft was in it's prime, that a game called Myth was coming out, where you got to control about 20 or less units, with no buildings at all, you would have laughed and gone back to Warcraft. But it came out, and rocked :-)

Hear-hear. That's what people love about Bungie games, the solo-player storylines and puzzles etc. It makes you relate to the game, and also gives you a much easier method of getting good at the game, rather than diving straight into multi-player.

This interests me most. I have been wondering for a long time if when you get shot at, that part of your body would juerk. Say you got a bullet in the shoulder, I think that to stick with the realism that we are expecting from Halo, your shoulder should jerk back.

I WON'T start on individual damage to body parts, cause I got flamed last time (but I still like it)

Good interview, loved it, thank you Nathan (and HaloNews)

If Nathan's in charge of Halo, what's Jason doing? :-)
