I never want to release a map that sucks. Also the map making tools have always been finicky and buggy. So I don't.

It's hard to make maps and sometimes there just isn't enough fun to be worth working for. Big things were released in the last year or so and another big thing was just announced. Things are happening, but you could really blame the fact that Marathon is old. I've see some good scenarios that weren't huge but the had a Beginning, Middle, and End. They were enjoyable. It's kind of a matter of craft and stortelling. More levels doesn't mean better. It's doesn't have to have new weapons. It would be nice if it worked with something I already downloaded like Tempus Irae, M:Resurrection, Rubicon or something. Those are ways to save work and stick to fun.
