In Response To: Re: The Ultimate PID Repentance Manaual (Lion O Cyborg) Reading this manual (and playing a little bit of marathon yuge and both PID demos) makes me think PID is a very good candidate for roguelike procedural generation (it already has the Labyrinth as a proof of concept that it's possible). Just randomly generate the floors, randomize the puzzle elements, and put in some code to make sure it's always beatable and each talking corpse is placed in an area that makes sense. PID itself was already way ahead of the curve inventing first-person horror survival before slenderman and all these SPC monsters and other little indie horror games popped up.
