Probably a reference to "Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid", a manga and anime franchise popular with the kids these days. Like the other weeb references, it adds no value and should be excised.

I don't think he's saying the pyramid is in Africa, just that the zombies, ghasts and sentinels look kinda-sorta Egyptian. To be fair, even Bungie's artists seemed to think the pyramid was Egyptian sometimes.
