I'm not so sure. I think it's more than possible that people would watch the movie because it looks intriguing on its own... I mean, that's why you watch movies in general, right? You're like, "Well, this is interesting." And then you go watch it. It's not necessarily a justified feeling, but an intuition that you run with and hope is correct.

As for packing the story in, that would be hard, but not necessarily impossible. Especially for M1 (personally), especially if the format were changed as discussed previously in this thread.
