You are probably correct, though I believe that, with a quality product and good marketing, you can sell anything. Even if not, I don't see the harm in idle chatter.

I think the general idea is that one movie would encompass one game, not the entire series. Probably the first game, at least for starters, as it seems to be the most cinematic.

It might be easy to make a movie out of Doom, but it would not be easy to make a good movie out of it. Case and point, the one they made. I would rather have more material to work with than less.
