Yes, someone helped me get the transparent liquids working. I was missing one important bit from the MML. I needed to have the { opac_type="1" } attribute inside the texture replacement tag for the highres liquid textures.

And yes, the textures are being almost completely overhauled, though I try to keep them such that nothing gets realigned too much. Most of the maps are being revised and retextured anyway, so that doesn't exactly matter a lot...
