Maybe other peoples missery will help to cheer things up a little :D Here is some very constructive criticism I've received over the years as a game developer:
Eedjit Boy (1/29/2002 - version 1.0.1)
It's always hard giving a negative review due to the amount of effort that goes into making games, particularly when they're freeware. Firstly I can't believe it's 4.4 meg. It seems like it should be more like 300k. Little monochromic icons make it look like a game circa 1989. Controls are awkward and gameplay weak. On the plus side the in-game sounds may raise a smile or two. Possibly.

Aight.... i downloaded this by accident.. I had to try it out.. Um, all I can I wish i had not been subjected to the aura of crap this so called "game" posesses. The graphics, the gameplay, the sound, not to mention EVERY POSSIBLE ASPECT OF THE GAME, was horrible.. This game exhibits its creator's stupidity and childishness, and possibly reflects his or her (plz tell me its a her) fantasies. I have probably spent more time writing this review than playing "The Kisser." Please note that this usually implies that I have not spent enough time playing the game, therefore, I have judged it wron

This game might be amusing for 5 minutes. But it crashes. And after 5 minutes, it's just completely dull. Basically, it replaces the cursor with a face which you must move around to avoid things which fly slowly across the screen. Download only if extremely bored.

If you hold down the "Alt/option" key, and press "K" + "M" + "A" key at the same time. You will see a huge butt with a title at the bottom saying "KISS MY ASS"... LOL... (1/22/2002, Version: 1.0)
I've been developing Macintosh games for 6 years now. And it's only the last half year that I've received any kind of praise. Takes awhile to get things right I guess ;)
