first let me say that you are very good at putting emotional shit into words, much better then i am. second, i am going to say something to th effect of, "it's your fuckin project, do it how ever the fuck you want, whenever the fuck you want, and don't give a damn about what ever other people are going to tell you, because they're not the ones who have been worjing on it for eight years of thair lives" if something like that is going to make you more angry at everyone, and more importantly your self DON'T READ ANYMORE OF THIS POST! DON'T EVEN LOOK AT A COMPUTER FOR AS LONG AS POSSIBLE! DON'T THINK ABOUT ANYTHING MORE IMPORTANT THEN DRIVING HOME, OR TO THE BEACH, OR TO WHAREVER YOU WANT TO GO TO FORGET EVERYTHING ABOUT everything, play with a dog, go out on a date to a comfortable place, or just go alone, whatever is more stress free. buy a gun and blow the shit outa some deer, or passing moterists, whatever.
ok, for what its worth, i love eternal, and i think you've done a wonderful job, and though i hate to say it, some of that comparison that you hate probaly has helped to to become what it is. but, as a i stated before, this is your project, your dream, and the ultimite decison is yours. gettin other peoples opinions is fine, but heres a little story that i like
thare was once a young indian man building a conoe. an older, more expereanced man found him and wachted him for a while and said "the keel is too high, you should make it lower"
the boy replied "thank you" and began lowering the keel.
a while later, another man came by and said "the sides are too high"
the boy replied "thak you" and begane lowering the sides
by the end of the day, every member of the village had told him what they thought he should do and he had done it, and when he tried to use his conoe, it sank quikly.
the next day, he set to work building another boat, and whenever someone gave him advice, he thanked them and then did what ever he was already doing, being polite, but following his and only his plane.
when the time came for him to launch his conoe, it floated well, was stable and fast, and everyone was impressed. when they asked whos advice he took to make it so good, he said he took his ownwhen he saw fit, and others only when he happened to agree with them
moral of the story? its yours forrest, to mold, to destory, to create, to bless, to damn, as you see fit. so get out thare and kick the world in the ass
