How else would I separate the effect of spamming? How would I be able to consistently repeat the pace of the DMR? When is a shot considered spammed if it is fired before the reticule fully resets? These questions are unanswerable if the reticule does not fully reset between every shot. I did my best to learn the rhythm of the DMR, anticipate when the bloom would be fully reduced, and minimize the "down time" between when the reticule fully reduces and my next shot. If you look at the variations in paced shot frames (and therefore times), I think I did a decent job keeping the pacing consistent according to my definition of pacing.
