In Response To: Also, a problem of definition. (uberfoop) : From my understanding, "pacing your shots" implies an optimal : firing pattern. That is to say, on average, a shot pacer should have kill : times less than or equal to a spammer, regardless of range. I don't know : how you determined what "pacing" is, but it doesn't seem that : the "pacer" was actually "pacing" in the short-ranged : tests, but rather firing idiotically slow. I defined pacing my shots as "waiting for the reticule to reset before firing." This ensured every shot was a maximum accuracy shot. In a real game, I never fire the DMR like this because as you said, it is "idiotically slow." But if I started to fire a bit faster than that, then I am introducing some amount of spam to the paced test. Despite firing "idiotically slow," the pacer will still win a majority of the battles and medium and long range. This majority is increased in 85% bloom. So maybe it's not so idiotic after all? ;)
