In Response To: Re: All this said... (Hoovaloov) : Dude I love it. I even posted the same idea, but you fleshed it out. 343, : you listening? I didn't notice that, but I just skimmed over the thread. I may just copy & paste this over at Waypoint. : In fact, why not just take out all the strict TU gametypes from Anniversary,
: That way, we can free up the other BTB to go back to Vanilla. We don't need
Well, the only reason I didn't suggest having a single Anniversary playlist in the vein of the Noble and Defiant playlists is due to the nature of Halo Anniversary. There are people who have HCEA but lack the Reach disc. Therefore, it'd be unfair to have only two playlists for them (one MP, one FF). Also, the TU was essentially marketed as part of Anniversary, and every Anniversary MP playlist is TU-enabled. However, I do think it'd be nice if the Anniversary playlists were not TU-enabled (or at least offered non-TU gametypes) and the TU gametypes were shunted off to an assortment of (clearly labelled and properly categorized) playlists that are not DLC-only. Of course, I'd rather 343i just make BTB vanilla again and make it and Team Slayer Noble & Defiant required, with Anniversary DLC being required by HCEA's six-month anniversary (to give people time to become aware of said change and save their money accordingly). The TU is divisive, but it's here to stay. Therefore, we need clearly-defined categories and a good selection of both vanilla and TU playlists, as outlined in my above post.
