In Response To: Re: Statistical Analysis of DMR Behavior (DEEP NNN) : What is the measure of your World Units? : I may want to conduct tests for confirmation or maybe just to open my mind up
I used the built in Forge World Units. So I placed one 5x1 flat block for short range (5 FWU), two 5x1s end to end for medium range (10 FWU), and three 5x1s in a row for long range (15 FWU). The spawn points just barely touch the edges of each side of the block (aka they don't overhang the edge at all). If you want, I could just upload the three maps and two gametypes I used in the experiment. :) Be warned however, this takes much longer than you think it will! For my small sample size of 25 kills at three ranges, with two methods of firing, and two bloom settings, that totals 300 kills of the target. That means 300 kills I had to analyze frame by frame. But if you want to add to the data, please feel free! It will only help to make the conclusions more conclusive. :)
