In Response To: Your analysis is grossly incomplete (RC Master) It omits: - crouched shots, where the DMR and NR both have effective zero bloom, and the sandbox goes to total shittt - Mathematically, the reticule resetting faster will always reward someone who was already spamming their trigger, because their spread is going to be tigher than before. In no way, shape or form can anything < 100% bloom actually reward pacing. If you wanted to reward pacing more, you need > 100% bloom. With no RoF lock, any reduction in the maximum amount the reticule can bloom out is an increase in the reward for spamming - If your target is bigger than the bloomed out reticule in any mode, there is no need to pace - It's kind of hard to compare kill times when 100% bloom has proper shields and 85% has the broken bleedthrough system. Which is why my NR autoaim study focused on the actual shots themselves and not the kill times, because it's not really possible to compare them straight across until 343 gives us a gametype without bloom, and it appears they cannot do this.
