When it's been long enough that people aren't concerned about CH spoilers, then it would stand to reason that Bungie would say "yes, humans are forerunners" if what you say is true. So really all we can do is wait...

Why would Sparky be invited to those "staff meetings?" What about "compartmentalization. In case I was ever captured, by the flood." (the Ark). If they didn't tell him about the Ark, other than its function in activating the Halos, why would they tell him anything more then "humans are the only ones who can activate the halos?"
