But why would he think that Human-Forerunners activated the rings and that a Human-Forerunner asked him for his opinion before they were fired?

Humans were discovered very late. Do you think that there would have been the time to teach primative hunter-gatherers all about the Flood, their biology, the array tech, the size of the galaxy, and all the other scientific, historical, and proceedural isses required for them to become effective decision makers?

Why even involve them? Would Didact want to burden them with that much guilt? Your first act as a Forerunner: wipe out all life in the galaxy. :-) Thanks Didact!

I don't think that there were Earth-Humans around that Sparky could talk to about the array. I don't think that Earth-Humans pulled the trigger.

And if we were of a different species then Sparky would know that it was the one eye, two nose guys that did it and he wouldn't have asked the Chief the questions that he asked him in TB.
