Beat test: Couch Fishing | ||

Picture it... Opening scene: you are looking down a long dark corridor. Out of the darkness, a long Fighter runs towards you. Ha! easy you think... you raise your pistol and fire. Immediately your motion detector lights up with red dots coming in at you from all directions, trapping you. It's a classic Jason Jones/Aliens moment. Unfortunately it's not working in the beta. Aliens only appear to come in from one direction (front). In the original level there are monster placements, 4 in front and 4 behind that are randomly filled each time you play. Max can be 8 but usually it either 6 or 7. In the beta only the 4 in the front are filled for me. Granted I haven't run this 30 times. But in the original game it works every time. This level should have a great deal of monster placement variation which just doesn't seem to be working right in the beta. Cheers
