I wholeheartedly agree.

Unfortunately, I think the bottom line comes down to two possibilities: 1) (and the more likely, I think) Dietz is just an inferior author that someone landed the job..or 2) the guy just didn't understand the Universe or had his hands tied too tightly by Bungie, thus getting bored with the project and not putting in the appropriate amount of effort.
