In Response To: Blowed up real good *SP* (Trey Ikon) You have to remember that Halo's weapon doesn't wipe out the Flood, but rather their food. So why is the Flood so important for the Forerunner? Considering this, I don't think destroying the entire ring is an option for the Forerunner. : if just desroying the affected ring was enough to : contain the Flood (as Cortana seems to assume) Cortana assumes that because there are more rings (as implied by 343GS). : there are now several huge chunks of Halo floating : around thye galaxy, ferrying god knows what to god knows where Well, I guess that a long walk in hard vacuum would take care of the Flood, wouldn't you?
