In Response To: Re: language (protexts) : I'm confused. Does it say in FoR that the suit translates Grunt language or : language in general? There's an important distinction. It says that the suit has translation abilities built into it. It doesn't say WHAT languages, or how good the translations are. The IMPLICATION (not actually stated in the book, or the game) is that the Grunt language is simple enough for the suit's translators to handle, while the OTHER languages (jackal, elite, hunter, etc) are out of its league - either because they're more complicated, or because there isn't as much initial information.
