: We can hear the Jackals because their statements are amusing: hearing the
: little dog/pig scream "Wake up! It's the enemy!" when you open
: one of them up to a nonmethanic atmosphere is pretty blasted funny!

We pretty much have the same hypothesis (on a serious level). You just said it in a more entertaining way. It's the entertainment factor. It may have to be revised depending on info in FoR.

: The Elites are probably saying something more along the lines of "Get
: back in line you damned idiots! MASSACRE THAT SON-OF-A-( :) )!"
: That's not the kind of things gamers like to hear from their enemies - so
: we don't!

Hmm, can't speak for others, but I certainly would be entertained by such realism, although ambiguous garble works for me too, and the notorious "wok wok wok" with its falling pitch is a gem. I'd be curious to know people's interpretation of "wok wok wok."

: And, as for the Jackals, look at their body language - same
: thing. They don't like us much.

They could be flippin' us the bird behind those shields.

: But the grunts - loveable little shrill-voiced goofballs that they are -
: could recite things from "Adolf Hitler's Big Book of Recipies
: Involving Humans" and it would be funny (if horrifying and
: traumatizeing).

I doubt "Exterminate all Jews!" would be too funny, but I get your point.
