In Response To: Give this theory a try... *spoiler* (Thaumaturge) It has serious merit. BTW, what 343GS says is "... all our lost time. Human history, is it?" Which suggests that a) he includes himself along with humanity and b) humanity didn't always call itself that or 343GS is on crack himself. I was thinking along similar lines over the weekend though I was imagining that perhaps Halo was built by distant ancestors of humanity, alá the Pak/human connection. This could make sense as well without all that nasty time travel stuff.
