The saddest part is that Ensemble is gone. Age of Empires II was one of my favorite games of all time. I remember this guy who always beat me, because I'd always play the game his way: playing the long game to get to the final age with a big economy. He'd out-economy me, and crush me in a flood of Elite Paladins.

So I learned the Tower Flush: foregoing economy to build towers to kill villages during the feudal age. He had no idea how to react, got flustered, and then rage quit when I advanced to the castle age & built a castle next to his town center. He got super salty and nasty about losing, though, and we never played again.

...I may have forgotten my point.
