I didn't make my post to "fight a : battle," just to note the loss of the nifty Warthog suspension. I : understand why it had to go; the problem isn't that it's impossible to : build, it's that it's a silly design with few if any advantages beyond : looking cool. I just thought it was "cute" in a way, and I'm a : little sad to see it go. But I, for one, welcome our slightly more : realistic sci-fi overlords. It's not about realism.
Neither realism nor plausibility factor into the equation.
When this design first came out for Forza, we were told that it was the new 2553 model. Now that it's showing up in Forward Unto Dawn, I guess the Warthog has always been this way. As far as the need to change the suspension for the silver screen, get creative. A little CGI here, dust clouds there, and some creative camera angles, and it shouldn't matter.
