In Response To: Re: New Halo 4 In-Game Footage Slowed Down (Unique Name) : I just noticed the Warthog has normal suspension. This gives me a sad. I : liked the ridiculous suspension setup it had in previous games. Human tech has apparently started going backwards. Why go from a futuristic, original suspension system to a generic real-world one? "Realism" or "practicality" would be flimsy excuses, given 343i's MP ultra-silly and impractical armor designs. Besides, the classic Warthog suspension isn't actually that far-fetched in an era where humanity has mastered FTL travel, can fit a fusion reactor into a backpack, build nukes that can shatter celestial bodies, or use nanomachines to completely rebuild a high-tech suit of armor while said suit is being worn by the user in a tiny enclosed space. Yet 343's art department seems to think that a somewhat exotic suspension setup would be too unbelievable?
