Okay, seriously, I would really advise against what you are proposing, I am sure you took into account your wife and kid, but there are elements you can't prepare for in life, and how will you cover those moments? I am in no way saying, you can't do what you are proposing, because you are a very talented person with spectacular passion. By all means keep yourself occupied, but please, do not rely on others (fans) for an income. There is no security in that for the long term compared to a proper job. You find yourself in an unfortunate situation, but keep your spirits up, and see if you can find employment, somewhere, anywhere.
