While I agree, and it's clear that people don't understand these things, I like knowing someone is going to dominate me quickly. In Halo 3, I got a 38 rank within the first few weeks. Then I played with my friends in College in unranked, so 2 years later I was still a 38 rank but I was not that good. So every time I saw a 50, which is a lot for some reason since I was 12 behind them, I knew I was going to be dominated and I usually was. In reach, I have to click 7 buttons to find their K/D, Win %, etc. I did like having an instant idea of how good overall they were.
