In Response To: What is "Halo"? (Leviathan) Halo for me is a universe that brought the community together. A universe full of mystery, excitement, passion, and much much more. When I first played Halo, my cousin introduced it to me. The memorable local multiplayer, the exploration of ancient ruins, the encounter with the terrifying Flood, and the later enjoyment of the lore of Halo. As years passed, I still continue to have great enjoyment. On my birthday, that same cousin bought me an XBOX 360. My first console. Although I was stuck on dial-up, I kept on playing the Halo 3 Campaign. As I continued life, I accumulated more games. When I am asked, "What is Halo?" I would usually explain the lore of the universe. I sometimes ramble on and on, but I never really thought of it deeply. The evolution of the franchise over the years created spectacular sights. Although there were some bad experiences and changes, it does not change my opinion of the whole. Combined with a growing community, it makes something that I am at a loss of words on how to describe it. I am just patiently watching as the franchise grows and grows and I am glad to be a part of the experience and community.
