Two of the biggest WTF moments for me in the LoTR movies is that Aragorn dismissed the ghost army when he still needed to assault Mordor, and how the assault on Mordor was to wait outside Mordor's gate and get surrounded by the reserve army. Which gets me thinking... In The Hobbit, the huge battle at the end is kind of an offscreen event, since Bilbo gets knocked unconscious and we're told what happened afterward. Anyone want to bet that Jackson is going to say "screw that!" and make an epic battle anyways?
