I got really upset when I saw those doors on High Charity. It just really bugs me for some reason. I love seeing an environment, then coming back to it later and seeing it changed. Running through The Storm, then backtracking through Floodgate was amazing.

The place you fought the Scarab?

Smashed to pieces from the impact.

Those Brute corpses you left back there? Floodified.

If I ran through Floodgate and the doors functioned differently, it wouldn't convey the same feeling of "Oh shit. I was just here, now new stuff is happening!" rather I'd get "Oh look. The developers changed the way the doors work."

One minute you are completely immersed in the story, plot, and game. Then you get pulled back to reality when you realize that the developers changed something.

The video pulled me out when I watched what I assumed to be a Beam Rifle firing Carbine-sounding Blamite. =\
