: My advice... TRY! :D Totally agree. I'm putting the finishing touches on my comic. My first ever. It's challenging and fun. The one thing you have to do is make it your own, in your own style. As long as it's true to you and your style...you cannot fail. Don't be intimidated by other work...just do your thing. I use other people as motivation and inspiration to do mine. There is only one Leviathan, only one Hedgemony, only one TDSpiral and only one Sl'askia. Each of us are doing something different. Awesome. I was talking to a creative director at a major theater in my city and I asked him, "Are you worried that you're work isn't going to be good enough?" He replied, "The creative person never does good enough work. At least in their mind. You put out your work and hope that people respond. But you need to make sure that you can capture what you wanted to do or say in your work." I look at what I am creating and I laugh because I see all of the mistakes. But I am having a blast and learning so much as I go. JUST DO IT! -Hedge.
