Noble Three, : Jun, is ordered to take out the man with the gun, the ‘Innie’, but : hesitates before taking the shot… something the whole team notices. : AUGUST 30th 2552 – Jun and Halsey have left SWORD Base (see Halo: Reach, the : game) for CASTLE Base, but Reach is almost entirely overrun. To avoid the : danger of being caught out in the open in enemy territory, Halsey routes : their pelican through the chaos as an armada of UNSC ships attempt one : last effort to defend Reach’s High Command (it will eventually fall - see : Halo: First Strike). : Jun and Halsey manage to pass through the Covenant lines just as an Assault : Carrier is brought down in a nuclear attack… Is Jun having flashbacks of the "Innie Op" story during his flight with Halsey? Because Emile doesn't have his skull yet. Maybe I missed the transition from current timeline to flashback.
