There's this Japanese movie "Ore wa, : kimi no tame ni koso shini ni iku" (I Go to Die for You) that has : been flamed by westerners because it glorifies kamikaze fighters. I just : think it's interesting to note that the American mindset isn't that : different. I wasn't thinking Muslim terrorists, though that may have to do : with why Americans are so prickly about the subject. Sorry if I offended : any Muslims with my ambiguousness. No no, no worries. But I do think, as has been pointed out elsewhere, that American war movies do the same thing. Saving Private Ryan or especially Black Hawk Down really glorify the valiant dead.
