Sure, saved films and Forge were in other games, but : no one has ever combined all of those features into one game on the : console. Besides, saved films for Marathon and saved film for Halo are two : totally different thing. It's like saying no one is innovating shooters : anymore because Galaga has already been released. That's just faulty : logic. What does platform have to do with this? I'm really tired of people excusing things based on platform. Oh, Halo wars is a CONSOLE RTS, so cut it some slack. Oh, Halo 3 was a CONSOLE game, so give it props for having saved films. Sorry, but if you make an RTS game, it gets compared to other RTS games regardless of platform. If you make an FPS game, it gets compared to FPS games regardless of platform. As far as shooters go, you don't know what you're talking about. Go play Espgaluda 2 and tell me the scoring system and mechanics aren't miles and miles ahead of Galaga. In fact, the differences between Espgaulda 2 and Galaga are probably more pronounced than those between Halo and Doom in terms of refinements.
