I was really hoping for at least SOME : leap in that regard... : Meh... :/ Seriously? Huge number counts does not immediately mean their games are good. Look at MAG. 256 players. A whole bucket load of players. Is the quality of that game even close to any of the Halo games? Oh hell, no. And Cody, everything you listed? The lack of innovation in Halo 3? You do realize that despite it being done on Marathon, that was a PC game, yes? Name me one other game that has come out now that can accomplish what Halo 3 did on the consoles back in 2007? Nothing. Bungie is Innovation at its finest. When you want to compare what a PC game can easily achieve to a console game, then you're the one who lost the argument.
