In Response To: Re: Forerunners as semi-humans (Andrew-022) : I'm starting to believe the whole theory that the Precursors took some early
This is what I've always said as well. I think that the Precursors accelerated the evolution of a large group of earlier humanity and brought them up to take on the mantle. I also think that perhaps the memories and knowledge of their own origins were left a mystery to them, perhaps by nature of the situation, or perhaps because the Precursors wanted them to have to predisposed bias towards their own homeworld, making their job as galactic stewards a bit easier and bipartisan. I think this is why when they discovered humanity they were so enthralled, and viewed them as so important, saying that humanity may hold the answers to their own biggest mysteries. What could be bigger than where they had come from? I really liked Origins overall, and certainly have some more questions of my own that I will formulate better soon. I liked most of the combat skin designs, although a couple looked a bit too birdlike. Loved the weapons, and the overall feel. And I very much do feel that perhaps the locking away of the armor was very much a foreshadowing of what might be to come for Chief via 343. Grim
