| Forerunner Physical Appearence *SPOILERS: Origins | |

I was quite surprised by how the dealt with the mysterious physical appearance of the Forerunners. Briefly, for those of you who haven't seen Origins, Part 1 yet, they are shown fully, except whilst completely covered in a combat skin. Ostensibly, they could be humans, or something more humanoid than any of the other races. However there are two reasons that I believe the Forerunners are entirely human. 1. An empty combat skin is shown, in stasis, in such a way that mirrors John's position at the beginning of Origins. The visuals leading up to this indicate it is being locked away (by the Forerunner hand seen in the preview). Humans can and have unlocked this type of mechanism, as it is the same type of interface Anders is forced to use in HW. My impression was that the armor is being locked away so that humans could use it in the future. 2. When Cortana was talking about the Forerunners reseeding the galaxy, I kept wondering why the hell they didn't reseed themselves. It made absolutely no sense. It violates the basic evolutionary drive to propagate the species. The only answer is that the Forerunners did reseed themselves, and we just think they didn't. We are the reseeded Forerunners (although this is nothing new). This does fit in to the whole "Forerunners are Humans that the Precursors abducted and tampered with." Now I must watch Origins again, because I honestly was looking at the visuals and missed half of what Cortana said.
