single shot BR was dropped because it was overpowered, Bungie said so

sprinting is hold the stick all the way forward. If you want to walk, push it halfway. We have analog sticks for a reason. Leave the left trigger for grenades

melee combos were an idea dropped, never promised. also they would have been stupid. I like how you want them but hate melee lunge... so how were you going to combo somebody without the engine helping out a bit?

Uh no, Infinity Ward actually took CoD sprinting from Treyarch, but sprinting is also not new to FPSes, and as I pointed out before, pushing the stick all the way forward in Halo = sprinting. Notice how you run faster than marines can. They're not going to go as fast as in the books for gameplay reasons.

Shishka didn't make Halo 1 all by himself, and since he didn't like your idea he was "crying like a girl". Really?

Eh, if the game is made without fall damage, it's balanced for that. Having fall damage requires different map design and balancing.

Halo 1, 2, and 3 have health. 2 and 3 just don't show it on the HUD.

: No Run?

: No Shield Gauntlet? (Chief could use it in the books WTF?)

dropped because honestly it looked stupid and unbalanced for Halo

: LUNGING MELEE?!?!?!?!

compenstation for internet lag and joystick control, I honestly have no problem with it, because people mostly tended to whiff in Halo 1 anyway, which just made people pistol each other to death
