(Riceatron) : I understand where he's coming from. : Looking at the canon. : Books : Comics : Halo's canon makes more sense to be in a game like CoD. EXACTLY. THANK you for your voice of reason. The Halo Canon is completely different from the halo 2/3 games. Halo 1 was the closest to the canon and now it's all but dead. SHIT in halo 2 and 3 a plasma pistol is USELESS but in halo 1 it was an actual instrument of death. It could KILL you, it was superheated PLASMA for christs sake. But they made some STUPID decision and screwed it up like countless other things in THEIR game. Now if you wield a plasma pistol you're a joke, when in halo 1 and in the books it was a feared piece of technology. a Charged shot would melt through your chest.
