In Response To: Bye (General Vagueness) But What has bungie done to "perfect" their franchise bud? Take the pistol and turn it into the br? take Melee and make it LUNGE so there is NO SKILL REQUIRED to land a punch? They did NO innovation and people like you would rather suck their balls than realize they've been nabbing 60 dollars from you time and time again for the same old rehashed shit. There is not one new fucking thing in the entire franchize other than WOW Dual Weilding and 3rd person turret carrying. They crapped out on everything they promised from online BATTLES to MELEE COMBOS to everything they fucking touted. The fact of the matter is, I played Halo 1 until my eyes Bled and it was a great game, saw halo 2 for the Money making sham it was, and was hoping that Halo 3 would set the bar higher, which it didnt. Let me ask you this, in a game which revolutionized vehicular/ fps combat (besides Battlefield 1942) why the HELL would you spam a SPARTAN laser all over every god damn map you make? When you hop in a banshee (which is hard as hell to find now) you're dead, when you hop in a hog' you're dead. When you hop in ANYTHING YOU'RE DEAD. It wasn't for FUN, it was for show, and there was no gameplay mechanics behind it at all except for simply *Point and BOOM* VEHICLE GONE. I'm the fan that was here at the beggining and wanted to see te game evolve and SHIT ON CALL OF DUTY but instead bungie takes damn near 10 YEARS to churn out the same SHIT and they finally realize with ODST "WE HAD IT RIGHT ALL ALONG". All they had to do was not cater to the god damned 8 year olds and try to come up with clever ideas IE Riot Shield = Jackals Shield? Not hard to balance eh, infinity ward did it just find dickhead. Bungie has been usurped by some upstarts and they have lost ALL of their original fans in place of HOMOS like you. You have ruined this franchize.
